The Postgraduate Training Center will be hosting the Saudi Neonatal Resuscitation Program Course, available on a variety of dates to facilitate attendance.  The activity objectives of this 7th edition supports and emphasizes the following initiatives and goals:

 
  • Recognize the principles of Neonatal Resuscitation
  • Identify the need for resuscitation and how to provide initial steps of resuscitation
  • Name the indications and skills needed to provide effective endotracheal intubation during neonatal resuscitation
  • Define the scope and practice of use of medications during neonatal resuscitation
  • Review special situations in neonatal resuscitation
  • Distinguish the issues and indications for starting and stopping neonatal resuscitation at the end of life
  • Define the practices for preparing for resuscitation
  • Define the practices of neonatal post-resuscitation care
  • Demonstrate knowledge of principles of neonatal resuscitation via completion of NRP eSim cases
